Frequently asked questions

Is Shariah.sg giving me investment advice?
No. We provide Shariah screening analysis for educational purposes only. We do not tell you what to buy or sell. Speak to a licensed financial adviser for investment decisions.
Who reviews these stocks?
Our screening team includes named Shariah Advisers (MUIS ARS, CSAA) and finance professionals. See the About page for full credentials.
Why do you show multiple methodologies?
Different recognised Shariah standards draw the line in slightly different places. Showing them side-by-side is transparent and educational — you can see exactly where and why verdicts diverge.
What if I disagree with a verdict?
Email us with the reasoning and the annual-report reference. Contested verdicts go to the review panel and are publicly re-reasoned in the next cycle's release notes.
How often is this updated?
Twice a year — on 1 June and 1 December, announced 3 days prior. Aligned with OJK Indonesia and SC Malaysia cycles.
Is this free?
Yes. Free, forever. Shariah.sg is independent.
